Early morning, bright smiles.
On a sunny day in January, our team was ready to trade our keyboards for snowshoes. Meescan kicked off our first winter team outing of 2026 on Mt. Seymour.
We started the day with a quick meetup while gearing up, fueled by doughnuts from Honey Doughnut and Goodies in Deep Cove. After a short briefing, we set off on Dog Mountain trail, enjoying the fresh snowfall, scenic views, and plenty of conversation along the way.
As we made our way through the forest, the group naturally split into smaller clusters, giving team members from different departments a chance to connect, share laughs, and help each other through uphill stretches. It was the perfect mix of movement, teamwork, and time outdoors.
We were also accompanied by our office dog, Marvin, who couldn’t resist jumping into every muddy puddle along the trail, adding a few extra laughs to the adventure.

Once we reached the top of the mountain, the view was wonderful. We took some time to rest. Some of us went to take pictures, while others had a short snack break. Then, we started heading down.
Finally, we ended the day at Seymour Pub and Grill for a team lunch of burgers and drinks. This marked the first Meescan team outing for our new co-op students, Yashna (Sales & Marketing assistant) and Sanggyu (Product Assembly and Tech Support).
We’re always excited for opportunities to step outside the office, support one another, and create lasting memories as a team. More activities are already in the works, and we can’t wait to share what’s next in 2026. Stay Tuned.
